After
surviving the Internet Boom in Silicon Valley, Albert
decided that
toiling away in a prominent Internet Security firm's
cubicle was
not the way he wanted to spend the rest of his
LIFE.
Albert first attended De Anza College in Cupertino, CA. and
obtained a A.A. in Film Production.
Then with his lovely WIFE,
he moved down South.
Albert graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2008 with a
B.A. in Film Production (concentration in
CINEMATOGRAPHY).
He was the Director of Photography for a web-series
titled "Pushing Twilight" that was featured on
IFC.com's Media Lab. You can watch all 7 episodes
now at www.ifc.com/pushingtwilight.
The short film "Out on the Wing" screened
at the Newport Beach Film
Festival.
It won the Best Film Under 35 Minutes award
at the British Film Festival LA.
It was filmed on location in Greenock, Scotland and he
still
does not like pigeons.
"Decklin and the Darkness" won the
Mini Masterpiece award
at
the
2nd Babelgum Online Film Festival with judge Spike Lee.
Albert does not miss securing the Interwebs, he roots for
the LAKERS
and
Browns, and is known to have a fondness for
SNEAKERS.
He strives to be considered the "other Filipino"
cinematographer.
